Nine-game pack features seven weekend games including Ron Francis Night

Matt West, Vice President of Business Operations for the National Hockey League Carolina Hurricanes, today presented the Carolina Hurricanes Subway Stretch Pack, a nine-game mini-season ticket package that features key match-ups for the first-place Hurricanes as they seek the Southeast Division title. The first game of the package is Jan. 23 against the Montreal Canadiens, and the plan includes Ron Francis Retirement Night on Jan. 28. The plan also provides fans with a chance to earn playoff priority and several other benefits. The packages start at just $99, or $11 per game.

“The Carolina Hurricanes Subway Stretch Pack provides fans an opportunity to watch the Hurricanes gun for the top seed in the Eastern Conference for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and gain some valuable benefits as plan holders,” said West. “The pack includes a chance to witness history as we raise the number of our greatest player to the rafters, as well as watching the Hurricanes establish new franchise history as they continue this record-breaking season.”

The nine games included in the plan feature seven weekend dates and five important divisional match-ups. The plan also includes the team’s second and final meeting of the season against Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins, Fan Appreciation Night on April 14 against Tampa Bay, and the Olympic Send-Off on Feb. 12 against Buffalo. Along with playoff priority, fans will receive a limited edition Eric Staal lithograph with each ticket purchased, as well as four collectible player magnets and coupons for three free regular foot-long subs at Subway.
