Canes Acquire Pair of Picks for Adam Fox

Carolina receives second-round pick in 2019, conditional third rounder in 2020

RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has acquired a second-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft and a conditional third-round selection in the 2020 NHL Draft from the New York Rangers in exchange for the rights to defenseman Adam Fox.

The conditional third-round selection in the 2020 NHL Draft becomes a second-round pick if Fox plays at least 30 NHL games for the Rangers during the 2019-20 season.
