As “The Heart of the Carolina Hurricanes,” the Kids ‘N Community Foundation offers programming assistance and financial funds to assist local area youth organizations. Since the establishment of the foundation in 1997, over $8.5 million in cash and in-kind services has been awarded to organizations that focus on enhancing the lives of the youth in our community.

The Kids ‘N Community Foundation awards monetary grants to qualified organizations during two grant cycles each year. During the 2009-2010 season, the Kids 'N Community Foundation donated $458,374 to 52 local children’s charities.

We hope that the Web site will further explain the value of the Kids ‘N Community Foundation to the team and our community. Please take a moment to browse around. We look forward to a great season for the Carolina Hurricanes and the Kids ‘N Community Foundation.
