Coghlan Assigned To Chicago For Conditioning

RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has assigned defenseman Dylan Coghlan to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League (AHL) on a conditioning stint.

Coghlan, 24, has skated in six games with Carolina in 2022-23. The 6'3", 207-pound defenseman has registered 19 points (6g, 13a) in 94 career NHL games with the Hurricanes and Golden Knights since debuting with Vegas in 2020-21. Coghlan previously played two AHL seasons with Chicago from 2018-20, registering 64 points (26g, 38a) in 126 games while the Wolves were the Golden Knights' AHL affiliate. The Duncan, B.C., native was acquired by Carolina from Vegas along with Max Pacioretty in exchange for future considerations on July 13.
