Chad LaRose Activated From Injured Reserve

Forward eligible to play tonight; Eaves placed on injured reserve list

RALEIGH, NC— Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that forward Chad LaRose has been activated from injured reserve. LaRose is eligible to play in tonight’s game against Atlanta at the RBC Center.

The Hurricanes also placed forward Patrick Eaves on the injured reserve list. Eaves underwent shoulder surgery this morning at Rex Outpatient in Cary. Dr. Marty Isbell of Raleigh Orthopeadic performed the procedure and Eaves is expected to miss two to three weeks of action.
