This is what our fans asked for … and this is how we’re responding
Improved customer service Created a Customer Care Department and a Customer Care hotline (861-CARE), instituting staff training and creating fan-friendly programs for guests
A ticket exchange policy Establishing a ticket exchange program for season ticket holder’s unused tickets and designating a ticket resale area outside the arena
A more “fan friendly” experience Scheduled more weekend games and instituted 7 p.m. start times
Enhanced benefits for season ticket holders Offering parking discounts, exclusive events, complimentary game tickets and the ticket exchange program
An exciting – and memorable – game experience Encouraging tailgating, offering more high-tech entertainment on the JumboTron, using “Ron the Ref” to explain hockey rules, creating new look and activities for Storm Squad, inviting back “in demand” entertainment
More food choices Offering a “Raw Bar,” the “Arena Tavern,” 14 additional concession stand items, additional premium beer choices, and new menus for suiteholders and club level patrons
Better directional signage in and around the arena Installing more than $100,000 in new signage, making it easier for fans to find entrances, exits, roadways and their cars
Enhanced parking areas Paving, painting lines to define parking spaces and installing lighting in areas around the arena and around Carter-Finley Stadium
Improved traffic flow Creating ESA Traffic Radio Network, paved travel lanes at Carter-Finley Stadium, developed special entrance and exit for buses and limos, committed $600,000 to widen roadways and make other improvements around the ESA
More fans at games Offering “mini-season ticket” game plans, expanding Harris Teeter Family Night specials, enhancing College Rush programs, formulating flexible payment policies and lowering ticket prices
