RALEIGH, NC (April 10, 2001) – The Carolina Hurricanes will have plenty of entertainment for fans as the Triangle gets ready for its first taste of the Stanley Cup Playoffs next week.

On the ice, the Hurricanes will play host to the New Jersey Devils in Games 3 and 4 at the Entertainment and Sports Arena on April 17-18 at 7:30 p.m. Off the ice, fans will be treated to several promotions and are encouraged to wear red clothing to all home games.

Game 3 will feature a premium giveaway of 10,000 red T-shirts sponsored by Bud Light and radio station WBBB-FM (96 Rock). This giveaway will be for fans ages 21-up only. However, all fans are encouraged to wear red for all Hurricanes home games.

There will also be a pre-game party on the South lawn in front of the ESA ticket office starting at 5:30 p.m. Chopper Harrison, the morning DJ for 96 Rock, will be the host of the party which will feature live music, clowns, face painters and food and beverage specials.

The first 10,000 fans of all ages attending Game 4 will receive red hats sponsored by Red Hat and WRBZ-AM (850 The Buzz). There will also be another pre-game party on the South lawn hosted by 850 The Buzz.

Both games will also feature Claude the Trumpeter, who will provide his wacky version of in-game entertainment.
