CAROLINA HURRICANES OPEN SECOND ANNUAL CANES SUMMER HOCKEY SCHOOL ON JULY 31

RALEIGH, NC (July 18, 2000) – The Carolina Hurricanes will open the Second Annual Canes Summer Hockey School at the Entertainment and Sports Arena on July 31, 2000. The six-day camp will feature Carolina Hurricanes Head Coach Paul Maurice, as well as guest appearances by Hurricanes players, who will join the Canes Summer Hockey School staff with on-ice instruction. Hurricanes players Glen Wesley and Bates Battaglia will join the team’s television color analyst, Tripp Tracy, in the instruction.

The skating sessions will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. The different age groups will rotate through the schedule during the week.
