RALEIGH, NC— Doug Warf, Director of Community Relations and Executive Director of the Carolina Hurricanes’ Kids ‘N Community Foundation, today announced that the Carolina Ale House Paper Hearts Campaign will kick off this Sunday, Feb. 1, and run through Sunday, Feb. 15. All six local Carolina Ale House locations will sell paper and magnetic hearts to customers, with the proceeds going to the Carolina Hurricanes Kids ‘N Community Foundation.
This marks the second year that the Carolina Ale House has partnered with the Kids ‘N Community Foundation for this event. The paper hearts, which can be signed by the purchasing patron, will cost $1 and will be hung in each respective location. Newly designed magnets featuring the Kids ‘N Community Foundation logo will be sold for $3 each and can be kept by the purchasing party. Last year’s Paper Hearts Campaign raised over $6,000 for the Foundation.
This is also the second year in which the Carolina Ale House has sponsored their “Points for Kids Campaign,” during which the restaurant chain donates $100 for every point the Hurricanes gain in the standings. Last year, the Carolina Ale House donated over $16,000 to the Kids ‘N Community Foundation. The Kids ‘N Community Foundation last season donated a record $578,000 to support children’s charities and educational programs throughout North Carolina.
