RALEIGH, NC— Curt Johnson, Director of Marketing for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced the details of Fan Appreciation Night, which will be held in conjunction with the team’s final regular-season game against the Florida Panthers.

On Friday, April 4, the Hurricanes will host the Panthers at 7 p.m. Prior to the game, fans can enjoy live music, street hockey, Hurricanes inflatables and food and beverage on the RBC Center’s South lawn, and the first 12,000 fans through the doors will receive free 10th Anniversary baseball caps courtesy of Chevrolet.

In addition to the baseball caps, during the first intermission Chevrolet will be giving away a new Chevy Malibu to one of five finalists from the season-long Chevy Shoot-out competition. During the second intermission, the Hurricanes will announce the grand prize winner of the ‘Canes 10th Anniversary Season Home and Prize Giveaway. The winner receives a brand new home, valued at more than $340,000, courtesy of St. Lawrence Homes. The winner will be chosen from a pool of 200 finalists that have participated in a season-long competition to win the home and other prizes. In the spirit of tradition, at the end of the game more than 20 lucky fans will be chosen at random to receive a game-worn 10th Anniversary jersey directly from each Hurricanes’ player in a special on-ice ceremony.
