The Carolina Hurricanes office staff will face the Carolina Fury from the North Carolina Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association on Sunday, June 9 at 2 p.m. at PNC Arena.
This game has become an annual tradition with excitement and plenty of action for the whole family. It is open to the public and parking and admission are free. The Kids N’ Community Foundation will have a table featuring a few signed Hurricanes items up for bid. Fans attending should park on the East side of PNC Arena, and the East Priority Lounge doors will open at 1:45 p.m. Donations for the NCEWHA will be accepted at the doors.
What is the NCEWHA, you ask? The North Carolina Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association (NCEWHA) was created in 2003 with the mission of developing a quality hockey program for people in North Carolina who require the use of an electric wheelchair in daily life.
The Hurricanes staff is proud to take part in this event and help bring awareness to this great organization as they continue to grow the sport in this area.
