, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has removed forward Patrick Dwyer
from injured reserve. Dwyer will return to the Hurricanes’ lineup tonight at PNC Arena when the team hosts the Arizona Coyotes at 7 p.m.
Dwyer, 31, has played in just two of Carolina’s eight games this season, having missed the team’s last six contests with a lower-body injury. The Spokane, WA, native scored eight goals and earned 14 assists (22 points) in 75 games with the Hurricanes in 2013-14. Dwyer (5’11”, 175 lbs.) is in his seventh NHL season, and has notched 37 goals and earned 44 assists (81 points) in 347 career NHL games, all with Carolina. The Hurricanes signed Dwyer as a free agent in July 2006.
