RALEIGH, NC – The National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes today announced changes to their season ticket options, benefits and pricing for the 2015-16 season. The team also announced the start of its “30 Prizes in 30 Days” ticket renewal promotion.
Full-season ticket holders will see increased benefits for the 2015-16 season, with greater separation created between their rewards and those of mini-plan holders. Among those benefits are access to “Inside the Front Office” calls with management, an annual full-season ticket holder gift and the largest return on food and beverage credit and ticket vouchers compared to partial-plan holders.
The Hurricanes’ mini-plans have been reduced from 26-game and 12-game packages to 22-game and 11-game “flex” plans. Mini-plan holders will receive tickets to opening night, and then will be able to personally select the remaining 21 or 10 games to complete their packages. Pricing will also be a customizable option for mini-plan holders, whose options will be broken into three pricing tiers: bronze, silver and gold.
Those same variable pricing options will apply to individual tickets as well, with each of the 41 regular-season home games identified as a gold, silver or bronze game, and a minimum of 25 bronze-tiered games available. Gold pricing will only be applied to highly-sought after opponents or prime dates. In addition, game-week pricing will be eliminated, so that box offices prices will remain the same from when they are announced. Offers that expired one week prior to the game under the game-week pricing system, such as Family Night, will now last until the day prior to the game.
Finally, the team will begin a special promotion to celebrate the start of the renewal period on Friday, when it announces the first winner of its “30 Prizes in 30 Days.” All fans who renew or purchase new seats will be entered for a chance to win one of the 30 prizes to be given away between March 6 and April 4, which include a trip with the team to a road game, a trip to the 2015 NHL Draft, game-worn jerseys and unique game experiences.
