RALEIGH, NC - The Carolina Hurricanes enter Day 2 of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft with 11 picks on the docket. After making two trades on Day 1, the team holds four Second-Round picks, two Third-Round picks, one pick in the Fourth and Sixth Rounds, and three picks in the final round.

Prior to the start of the First Round on Friday,
the Canes dealt Jake Bean
to the Columbus Blue Jackets for the 44th overall pick in this year's draft, a selection Columbus acquired after trading defenseman Seth Jones. Then, with Carolina on the clock with the 27th overall pick, the team opted to trade back with Nashville, acquiring the 40th and 51st overall selections in exchange for the 27th slot.
