Hurricanes Announce Training Camp Schedule and Roster
On-ice sessions begin Sept. 13 at PNC Arena

RALEIGH, NC - Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced the schedule and roster for the team's 2019 training camp, to be held at PNC Arena in Raleigh. The team will begin on-ice workouts on Friday, Sept. 13, at 8:45 a.m.
The Hurricanes will skate in two groups during training camp, Team Pride and Team Passion. The team will open camp with four practice days before playing back-to-back exhibition games, visiting Tampa Bay on Sept. 17 then hosting the Lightning at PNC Arena on Sept. 18. The Hurricanes travel to Washington to play the Capitals on Sept. 21, before visiting Nashville on Sept. 25 and hosting the Predators at PNC Arena on Sept. 27. The preseason slate concludes with the annual Caniac Carnival on Sept. 29, as the Hurricanes host the Capitals in a free game at 1:30 p.m.

The Hurricanes play their first exhibition game of the 2019 preseason at Tampa Bay on Sept. 17, and open their 2019-20 regular season against the Montreal Canadiens on Oct. 3 at PNC Arena.
