First impressions go a long way. William Karlsson knows this.

So when the Golden Knights center, acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets in the Expansion Draft, arrived in Las Vegas this week, he had some important things to tell us when he arrived at City National Arena.

Especially when we asked him why his Twitter avatar features Joey Tribbiani from the TV shows friends with a bandage on his head.

"Well it's the best show ever made," Karlsson said. "There's nothing more to say than that."

And then Karlsson proceeded to tell us more about Friends. In particular, why he chose the scene from the episode "The One With Joey's New Brain," rather than his NHL headshot, as his Twitter profile photo.

About how when growing up in Sweden, Friends was Karlsson's favorite TV show, which he'd watch in English, with Swedish subtitles, to help learn a new language.

"I think that particular scene, when he has the bandage on his head," Karlssons aid. "That's a funny one."

Having answered our questions about his Friends fandom, we moved on to another topic with Karlsson.

Like why he has Rafiki from The Lion King as his Instagram avatar.

"The Lion King was my favorite movie growing up," Karlsson said. "It's a tribute to that movie. I picked Rafiki. Simba's my favorite character, but Rafiki's a fun one, too."
