VEGAS (June 24, 2019) - Vegas Junior Golden Knights Executive Director Darren Eliot announced today, June 24, the coaches of the nine Vegas Junior Golden Knights teams for the upcoming 2019-20 season. Among the additions include former NHL player Clayton Stoner, who will join the staff as the organization's 12AA coach.
Stoner becomes the second Vegas Junior Golden Knights coach with NHL playing experience, joining Brian Salcido who is a member of both the 14AA and 10U coaching staffs and serves as a Skills Coach. Stoner is a veteran of 360 NHL games and tallied seven goals, 41 assists and 459 penalty minutes in his NHL career. The Vegas Golden Knights selected him in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft from the Anaheim Ducks.
"The 2019-20 coaching staff brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience at all levels. Clayton Stoner will be a tremendous addition to the organization.
