AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain will re-air the broadcast of the Vegas Golden Knights' victory against the Ottawa Senators from Jan. 16, 2020 tonight at 7 p.m. PT.

The storylines entering the game were aplenty as it was the first game behind the bench for Pete DeBoer after being hired by the Golden Knights one day earlier. The game was also marked Mark Stone's return to Ottawa after being traded to Vegas by the Senators at the 2019 trade deadline.

Stone wasted no time in stepping up for his new team as he set up Paul Stastny for the game's first goal 34 seconds into the contest. Late in the second period, Stone found the back of the net himself as he used his long reach to beat Craig Anderson on a wraparound.

Chandler Stephenson added to the Vegas lead early in the third with a shorthanded goal to make it 3-0 for the visitors. After Vladislav Namestnikov got the Senators on the board, Ryan Reaves potted his sixth goal of the season to make it 4-1 Golden Knights. Connor Brown scored one last goal for Ottawa, but Vegas held on for the win.

The victory snapped a four-game losing streak for the Golden Knights and was the lone win on a four-game trip against Atlantic Division opponents. Vegas swept the season series with the Senators as the Golden Knights improved to 2-0-0 against Ottawa in 2019-20.
