During the middle game of their three-game trip, the Vegas Golden Knights were defeated by the Philadelphia Flyers, 6-2, on Monday night at Wells Fargo Center.

During the first 20 minutes, the Golden Knights and Flyers traded chances but the home team carried a 1-0 lead into the break. Philadelphia netted four goals during the second period and took control of the game with a 5-0 advantage. Goals from Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith gave the Golden Knights something to hang their hats on, but another tally for the Flyers allowed them to clinch the 6-2 win.

The road trip wraps up for the Golden Knights on Tuesday night as they visit the Chicago Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. PT at the United Center. Puck drop can be seen on AT&T SportsNet and heard on FOX Sports Radio 98.9/1340.
