VEGAS (April 2, 2021) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, April 2, that the team has signed forward Maxim Marushev to a two-year, entry-level contract starting with the 2021-22 season.

Marushev appeared in 37 games this season in the VHL with Bars Kazan and collected 21 points (8 G, 13 A) to go with 24 penalty minutes. He also played in seven KHL contests during the 2020-21 campaign with Ak Bars Kazan. During the 2019-20 season, the forward recorded 40 points (23 G, 17 A) in 35 VHL games, leading all scorers on Bars Kazan. Marushev was drafted in the seventh round (215th overall) of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
