VEGAS (December 24, 2019) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, December 24, the following roster transaction: the team has assigned forward Valentin Zykov to the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves following the Golden Knights game on December 23.
Zykov appeared in 15 games for Vegas this season and has recorded four points (1 G, 2 A) to go with six penalty minutes. Since joining the Golden Knights last season, he has appeared in 25 games and has recorded six points (3 G, 3 A) to go with six penalty minutes. In his NHL career, Zykov has recorded 17 points (7 G, 10 A) to go with 10 penalty minutes in 55 games after also playing with Carolina (25 games) and Edmonton (5 games). This season with the Wolves, he has appeared in five games and has recorded four points (1 G, 3 A) to go with two penalty minutes.
