VEGAS (December 5, 2018) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, December 5, the following roster transactions: the team has recalled forward Reid Duke from the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves and has assigned forward Daniel Carr to the Wolves.
Duke has appeared in 22 games for the Wolves this season and has recorded 13 points (6 G, 7 A) to go with 18 penalty minutes. He appeared in 14 games with Chicago during the 2017-18 season. The native of Calgary, Alberta was originally drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and became the first player in team history to sign with the Golden Knights on March 6, 2017.
Carr has appeared in six games for the Golden Knights this season and scored his first goal in a Vegas sweater at the Chicago Blackhawks on Nov. 27. He appeared in his 100th career NHL game against the Washington Capitals on Dec. 4. The Sherwood Park, Alberta native has also appeared in 16 games for the Wolves this season and, at the time of being recalled on November 22, he led the AHL with 22 points (9 G, 13 A). He also had a league-high six power play goals. Last season with the Montreal Canadiens, Carr appeared in 38 games and recorded 16 points (6 G, 10 A) to go with eight penalty minutes. He was signed by the Golden Knights on July 1, 2018.
