VEGAS (March 30, 2023) - The Vegas Golden Knights announced today, March 30, that the team will host their annual regular season awards ceremony following the final home game of the regular season on Tuesday, April 11 when the Golden Knights play the Seattle Kraken at 7 p.m. PT at T-Mobile Arena. The winners of the team's awards will each choose a local charity to receive a $5,000 donation from the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation. The matchup with Seattle is presented by Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers Association, the official vehicle of Hockey in Las Vegas.

Three total awards will be given to the winning players, including a Vegas Golden Knights First Star Award presented by Gold Bar Whiskey as determined by "stars of the game" voting at home games; Vegas Strong Service Award for the player most involved in serving and giving back to the Vegas community; and Seventh Player Award for the player who most exceeded expectations on the ice.

.Michael Amadio, William Carrier, Adin Hill, and Logan Thompson are the four nominees up for the award. Voting will end on April 7.
In his first full season with Vegas, Amadio has appeared in 60 games, collecting 23 points (13 G, 10 A). His 13 goals and 23 points during the 2022-23 season are a career-high for the forward. Amadio joined the Golden Knights last season after being claimed off waivers from the Toronto Maple Leafs and signed a two-year contract extension with Vegas on January 30, 2022.
An original member of the Golden Knights, Carrier's 25 points, 16 goals, and +15 rating are all career-highs in 56 games this season. The forward's 16 goals are nearly double his previous career best and include a team-leading seven game-winning goals for Vegas.
Hill was acquired by the Golden Knights from the San Jose Sharks on August 30, 2022. With Vegas, the goaltender has made a career-high of 25 starts, posting a record of 16-7-1 with a .915 save percentage and 2.45 goals-against average. Hill's 16 wins and 2.45 GAA are both personal bests. On Mar. 3, Hill made a career high of 47 stops against New Jersey and did not allow a goal in the shootout to secure a 4-3 win for Vegas.
In his first full NHL season, Thompson has appeared in 37 games, making 36 starts and owns a 21-13-3 record, posting a .915 save percentage and 2.65 goals-against average. The young netminder was named the NHL's Rookie of the Month in November for his 8-2-0 performance in 10 starts with a .909 save percentage and 2.88 GAA. Finally, Thompson was named to the 2023 NHL All-Star Game in Sunrise, Florida to become the first Vegas rookie to be selected and the first NHL rookie goaltender to be chosen since Anaheim's John Gibson in 2016.

Following the awards presentation, the team will participate in a "Jerseys Off Our Backs" event presented by the D Las Vegas, where players will take the ice after the game and present their game-worn jerseys to select fans at T-Mobile Arena.
