VEGAS (November 8, 2019) - Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz announced today, November 8, a canned food drive presented by Nacho Daddy ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday, November 19, as well as a canned food drive at City National Arena in partnership with SilverSummit Healthplan.
Fans attending 7 p.m. game on November 19 at T-Mobile Arena between the Golden Knights and the Maple Leafs are asked to bring nonperishable food items for the food drive presented by Nacho Daddy. Those who donate will receive an exclusive Chance poster. Please note poster quantities are limited.
Canned goods will be collected in Toshiba Plaza before the game by Golden Knights significant others. All collected items will be donated to Three Square Food Bank, Southern Nevada's only food bank that serves individuals and families at risk of hunger.
The food drive at City National Arena will take place from November 11-16, with donations supporting Three Square Food Bank, a member of Feeding America.
Donation bins will be placed around City National Arena throughout the week, and there will be a donation event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. PT on November 16 to cap off the drive. Those who donate at the event on November 16 will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win autographed Golden Knights items. In addition to the raffle, the event will feature an appearance from Chance, photo opportunities, face painting and other family activities.
Chance will be available for photos with fans from 12-1 p.m. PT.
