Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, February 26, that the team has acquired forward Ivan Barbashev from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for forward Zach Dean.

Barbashev has appeared in each of St. Louis' 59 games this year, his seventh season in the NHL, while collecting 29 points (10 G, 19 A). Last year with the Blues, the forward recorded a career-high 60 points (26 G, 34 A) after suiting up in 81 of the club's 82 games over the 2021-22 season.
The native of Moscow has also skated in 50 postseason contests and won the 2019 Stanley Cup with the Blues, topping the Boston Bruins in seven games. Through their run, Barbashev led all NHL skaters with 87 hits during the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The 27-year-old was drafted by St. Louis in the second round (33rd overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
