The Vegas Golden Knights won, 4-1, against the Arizona Coyotes in an exhibition game at Rogers Place in Edmonton in their first game since reporting to the NHL's Western Conference bubble on Sunday, July 26.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Reilly Smith kicked off the scoring with a shorthanded goal from William Karlsson at 8:42 of the first period. Smith added another marker and doubled the Golden Knights lead when he fired a wrister from the left circle with less than five to play in the first. After a quiet second period, Taylor Hall put Arizona on the board at 9:14 of the third frame, but Alex Tuch went top shelf on Darcy Kuemper to regain the two-goal lead. Cousins picked up an empty-netter in the final minute of the game to secure Vegas the 4-1 win.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Golden Knights will face off against the Dallas Stars at Rogers Place in Edmonton at 3:30 p.m. PT in the first game of round robin play.
