The Vegas Golden Knights (25-15-3) had their seven-game road win streak snapped by the Carolina Hurricanes (28-9-2) in a 4-3 overtime loss on Tuesday night at PNC Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a scoreless first period, the Hurricanes pounced on the Golden Knights with two goals in less than a minute from Nino Niederreiter and Vincent Trocheck. In the final two minutes of the frame, Keegan Kolesar set up Nolan Patrick who dragged it through his legs and finished to get Vegas on the board. Carolina extended its lead to 3-1 on a power-play goal from Sebastian Aho at 8:32 of the third, but Brett Howden and Nicolas Hague scored in the final seven minutes to tie the game at 3-3. Late in overtime, Aho tucked in his second of the game to give the Hurricanes the 4-3 win.
