Vegas Acquires Marcus Kruger From Chicago For Future Considerations

Kruger won Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks in both 2013 and 2015

VEGAS (July 2, 2017) -  Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, July 2, that the team has acquired forward Marcus Kruger from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for future considerations.

Weight: 186 lbs.
Age: 27
Draft: Selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fifth round (149th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft 

Notes:

-Has 105 points (33 G, 72 A) in 398 career NHL games
-Won the Stanley Cup twice with the Blackhawks (2013, 2015)
-Won a silver medal with Sweden at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi
