VEGAS (November 1, 2017) - The Vegas Golden Knights and City National Arena will host a Try Hockey For Free event from 2:30-4 p.m. PT on Saturday, November 4 at City National Arena as part of the nationwide Try Hockey For Free Day.
The event is designed for children ages 4 to 9 to try youth hockey for the first time. Participants will receive a hockey stick and complimentary skate rental, and are encouraged to bring their own helmets (hockey, bike or rollerblading) and gloves or mittens. Please note children will not be allowed on the ice without a helmet. The first 40 children to arrive will also receive a complimentary USA Hockey jersey.
Local youth coaches and Golden Knights personnel will provide instruction at the event.

USA Hockey's Try Hockey For Free program, with support from the National Hockey League and NHL member clubs, among others, is designed to provide youth hockey associations nationwide with a platform to introduce children to the sport. More than 143,000 children have participated in USA Hockey's national Try Hockey For Free Days since the program's inception in February 2010.
