Starting Five - Vegas Thumps Calgary For Third Win

The third win of the season for the Vegas Golden Knights marked the first win against a team not named the San Jose Sharks in 2019-20. Vegas topped the Calgary Flames, 6-2, to improve to 3-2-0 on the young year.

The fun at The Fortress was non-stop on Oct. 12 as the Strip was rocking on a Saturday night. Here are five moments that take us back to that memorable night.

For this game against the Flames, rookie sensation Josh Jacobs had a blast at The Fortress and seems like he'll be running back for more.

Fleury's Kick Trick
This was just so Flower. We can only wonder what Nic Hague was thinking when the pass came to him. Marc-Andre Fleury loves to keep people guessing!

Carrier's Pair of Points
William Carrier notched his first multi-point effort of the season as he posted a goal and an assist in the win against Calgary. Is Carrier a computer on this assist? Because that's a hard drive… to the net… anyone? Buehler?

Anyway, this backhander was perfectly placed and it stood as the game-winning goal!

Reaves Rounds Out Fourth Line's Scoring Trio
Tomas Nosek scored a goal. William Carrier scored a goal. Ryan Reaves had not scored a goal entering the third period. He just wanted to be like his linemates. Reaves netted his first of the season early in the third as all three members of the fourth line hit the back of the net.
