There are always extra eyes fixed on matchups between the Washington Capitals and Vegas Golden Knights. After the Capitals won their only head-to-head contest in D.C. in November, the Golden Knights answered with a win of their own - their third in a row - as they downed Washington, 3-2, on Feb. 17.
The Gold Pads Strike Again
Marc-Andre Fleury improved to 2-0-0 in goal since bringing his gold pads back to the rink.
Defenseman Nick Holden can fire booming shots from the blueline. You won't often find him in front of the opposing net, but that's exactly where he scored the first goal of the game against the Caps.

William Karlsson fooled everyone as he flipped the puck from behind the net to Max Pacioretty who was wide open on the right side to net his 27th goal of the season.

Stephenson Beats his Former Mates
Chandler Stephenson took the ice against the Washington Capitals for the first time in his career in this game. He was drafted by Washington and won the 2018 Stanley Cup with the Capitals and has flourished since being traded to the Golden Knights in early December.
