Starting Five - Stone Shines in Florida, VGK Wins 7-2

Look back at the Golden Knights' dominant win against the Panthers

In the team's eighth consecutive road game, the Vegas Golden Knights lit up the scoreboard in a 7-2 win against the Florida Panthers on Feb. 6.

With Mark Stone leading the way with five points, six different Golden Knights recorded multi-point games en route to the statement victory in the Sunshine State.

Stone Goes Off
Stone tied a career-high with five points in the contest against Florida. After scoring Vegas' first two goals, Stone chipped in three assists in the second half of the game to help lift the Golden Knights to victory.

Four-Goal Third Period
The Golden Knights turned a 3-2 tie into a 7-2 win real quick in the final period.

Schmidt Scores Early in Third
With a one-goal lead through 40 minutes, Vegas took the wind out of the Panthers' sails with Nate Schmidt's goal just 17 seconds into the third period.

The best thing to do to a lead is add to it. Shea Theodore did that on this play as he stepped up and fired a shot through Sergei Bobrovsky for the shorthanded goal.
