The Vegas Golden Knights lineup had a slightly different look on Jan. 2 as the team hit the ice for the first time in 2020.

Vegas earned a 5-4 win against the Philadelphia Flyers in an exciting start to the new year at T-Mobile Arena.

New Year, New Jonny
Jon Merrill was slotted into the lineup as a forward for the first time in his professional career on Jan. 2. Merrill made the most of the change as he buried his first goal of the season and looked like a goal-scorer all the while.

The Iceman Cometh
Chuck Liddell was on hand to crank the siren prior to puck drop against the Flyers. The Ice Man got the fans on their feet as he stopped by The Fortress.
