Jack Eichel scored a power-play goal with 5.2 seconds left in the third period to give the Vegas Golden Knights (32-21-4) a 2-1 victory against the Ottawa Senators (19-31-5) on Sunday night at T- Mobile Arena. 

VEGAS (March 6, 2022) - The Vegas Junior Golden Knights announced today, March 6, that Jack Edlin has been named the recipient of the 2022 Mark Workman Scholarship.

Named after the late Vegas Golden Knights amateur scout, the Mark Workman Scholarship is awarded to a current high school senior in the Vegas Junior Golden Knights program who best exemplifies passion, sportsmanship, team play, work ethic, discipline, community service and academic achievement.

Edlin, a senior at Faith Lutheran High School, is a four-year member of the Crusader varsity team and has served as captain and assistant captain. He maintains a 3.79 grade-point average while playing hockey, working a part-time job, and volunteering in the community. This fall Edlin also ran for Faith Lutheran's varsity cross country team.

The Vegas Golden Knights (31-21-4) look to keep moving in the right direction as they host the Ottawa Senators (19-30-5) on Sunday at 5 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena.

Funds raised during the game and its telecast will benefit the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and Cure 4 The Kids Foundation.

Vegas Golden Knights Head Coach Pete DeBoer picked up his 500th career win on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena. The road to 500 started in 2008 when DeBoer made his NHL coaching debut with the Florida Panthers. From there, he spent time with the New Jersey Devils and San Jose Sharks.
