Nicolas Roy found the back of the net midway through overtime to propel the Vegas Golden Knights (46-21-6) to a 4-3 overtime win against the Edmonton Oilers (41-23-9) on Saturday night at Rogers Place.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
Jack Eichel got the scoring started as he put Vegas up, 1-0, at the 1:01 mark of the opening frame. Zach Hyman answered and tied the game for Edmonton, but Pavel Dorofeyev continued his hot streak with a power-play goal to send the visitors into the break with a 2-1 lead. In the second period, Leon Draisaitl was the only player to find the back of the net and the third period opened with the score tied at 2-2. Jonathan Marchessault and Warren Foegele traded goals in the third to set the stage for overtime. Midway through the extra session, Roy buried his own rebound to lift the Golden Knights to the 4-3 victory.

Nicolas Roy:Roy scored for the second game in a row as he's potted game-winning goals in both games since returning from injury.
Laurent Brossoit:Brossoit earned the win in his first start since Feb. 25 as he stopped 27 shots.
Pavel Dorofeyev:Dorofeyev scored his fifth goal in the seventh game since his call up to the Golden Knights.
Jack Eichel:Eichel led the way with three points (1G, 2A) to extend his team lead in scoring. He has 58 points (27G, 31A).
