The Vegas Golden Knights hosted the Knight To Remember event on Thursday night at World Market Pavilions to benefit the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
The event kicked off with a VIP reception where guests arrived in style and walked the carpet. Photos were taken with the Vegas Belles presented by The Flamingo before casual meet-and-greet opportunities with the players and coaching staff.
"From start to finish, everything felt like family," said guest Jay Bryant-Chavez. "The players are so down to earth and humble."
The respect the fans in attendance had for the players was mirrored by the Golden Knights as they enjoyed spending some time away from the ice with fans.
"The city stands behind this team so much," said forward Ryan Reaves. "For us to spend some time with them, take some pictures and shake some hands, it's always fun."

Performers from KA by Cirque du Soleil displayed their talents in a special performance early on in the event. The entertainment continued as the players exchanged their suit jackets for aprons and joined celebrity chefs from around Las Vegas to prepare and serve gourmet food for the guests. Alex Tuch and Shea Theodore were stationed with chefs from Border Grill and prepared small bites for all to try.
"The chefs from Border Grill were unbelievable," Tuch said. "I was nibbling on it while I was making it."
When their culinary activities wrapped up, auctions for one-of-a-kind experiences with the players began and the bids kept climbing.
Chairman and CEO Bill Foley addressed the excited crowd and pledged to happily match up to $250,000 in donations for the evening. Having the man who brought NHL hockey to Las Vegas in attendance is always a special experience for the most passionate Golden Knights fans.
"To know that he keeps us fans in mind and is so inclusive of everybody is phenomenal," Bryant-Chavez said. "He takes steps above and beyond because that's just what he does."
The event wrapped up in true Vegas fashion as Steve Aoki performed a set. Guests gathered on the dance floor and enjoyed Aoki's set as the perfect close to the evening.
"He's an amazing DJ and has so much talent," Tuch said. "He loves the city of Vegas and he loves giving back just like we do so we get along really well."
