Max Pacioretty deked past Ben Bishop at 51 seconds of overtime to lift the Vegas Golden Knights (17-13-5) to a 3-2 victory against the Dallas Stars (18-11-4) on Friday night at American Airlines Center.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
After Taylor Fedun gave the Stars a 1-0 lead in the first period, the Golden Knights turned the game on its head with two goals in the second frame. William Karlsson tied the game at 4:20 of the second before Chandler Stephenson scored the go-ahead goal with 5:19 to go in the stanza. In the final five minutes of the game, Jamie Benn scored the equalizer and the game extended into overtime. In the first minute of the extra session, Shea Theodore sprung Pacioretty who pulled the puck around Bishop and tucked it in to win the game for Vegas.
TOP PERFORMERS
Max Pacioretty:Pacioretty scored for the third game in a row as he potted the game-winner. He also added an assist on Stephenson's goal.
William Karlsson: Karlsson's goal helped him become the fourth Golden Knight to reach the 10-goal mark this season.
Chandler Stephenson: Stephenson scored his second goal in his sixth game since joining Vegas.
Malcolm Subban: Subban made 28 saves on 30 shots to backstop the Golden Knights to victory.
LOOKING AHEAD
Vegas returns home for a pair of games at T-Mobile Arena. The brief homestand opens against the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT and will air on AT&T SportsNet, FOX Sports 98.9/1340 and Deportes Vegas 1460.
