by Gordon Weigers @GoldenKnights / VegasGoldenKnights.com

The Vegas Golden Knights approach the end of preseason as they host the Los Angeles Kings on Friday at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena. The game will air locally on KTNV Channel 13 and FOX Sports Radio 98.9/1340.

NOTES
On Thursday, the Vegas Golden Knights training camp reassigned Reid Duke and Dylan Coghlan to join the Chicago Wolves. Patrick Brown and Curtis McKenzie were placed on waivers for purpose of assignment to Chicago.

Fans in Reno can catch the game on the Nevada Sports Network and fans in Salt Lake City can watch on 14-KJZZ.

FORTRESS FESTIVITIES
All fans will receive Jonathan Marchessault bobbleheads presented by AT&T SportsNet for the third game of the team's preseason bobblehead series.

LAST TIME OUT
The Golden Knights endured their first loss of the preseason Wednesday night as they fell to the Colorado Avalanche, 4-1, at T-Mobile Arena. Patrick Brown scored the lone goal for Vegas late in the game as the Avalanche skated away with the three-goal victory.

KEYS TO THE GAME
Working Out The Kinks: Forward Cody Glass said the team's sloppy play Wednesday night led to a surplus of penalties. Staying out of the box by playing sound hockey will be key for the Golden Knights in their penultimate tune-up tilt.

Score The First Goal: In their five preseason games, the Golden Knights have scored the first goal just twice. To avoid playing catch-up, Vegas will have its sights set on lighting the lamp first.
