Robin Lehner picked up his first shutout of the season as the Vegas Golden Knights (25-15-2) earned a 1-0 victory against the Washington Capitals (23-11-9) on Monday night at Capital One Arena.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
After a scoreless first period, Michael Amadio scored the game's first and only goal on the rebound of a Brett Howden shot. Later in the period, the Golden Knights set a new franchise record by killing off a 5-on-3 power play that lasted 1:56. Lehner held down the fort in the third period as Vegas held on for the 1-0 victory.

Michael Amadio: Amadio's game-winning goal was the only goal of the contest and his fourth of the season.
Robin Lehner:Lehner stopped all 34 shots and recorded his 17th career shutout.

STAT OF THE KNIGHT
The Golden Knights' 1-0 victory against the Capitals was the first time Washington has been held scoreless this season. It also marked the seventh consecutive road win for Vegas.
