The Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament is widely considered the preeminent competition for 11-12-year olds in the world. More than 1200 NHL players have participated in the annual tournament, including current Golden Knights William Carrier, Marc-Andre Fleury, Jonathan Marchessault, Jon Merrill, Max Pacioretty, Ryan Reaves, Paul Stastny and Alex Tuch. In addition, hockey legends Guy Lafleur, Wayne Gretzky, Gordie Howe, Mario Lemieux, Patrick Roy and Brad Park, as well as current NHL stars such as Patrice Bergeron, Connor McDavid, Johnny Gaudreau, Auston Matthews, Steven Stamkos, and Anze Kopitar have also competed.
The Jr. Golden Knights return five players from last year's team that went 6-2 overall in Quebec City, when the club made a run into the tournament's semifinals before falling in overtime, 3-2, to the St. Albert Saints of Alberta, Canada.
