VEGAS - March 7, 2017 - Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz announced today that the team has signed a multi-year partnership with the Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers Association. The partnership will begin with the team's inaugural 2017-2018 season.
"We are proud to welcome the Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers Association as a partner at the beginning of our franchise's history," said Vegas Golden Knights Vice President of Global Partnerships Michael Mungiello. "Our hope is that all of our partners will share our mission of growing the game of hockey in Nevada and Toyota certainly fits that criteria. Golden Knights fans will see Toyota's involvement in a number of impactful community outreach programs and we are excited to work with them on these initiatives."
Under the agreement, Toyota becomes the preferred automotive partner of the Golden Knights in the non-luxury category at T-Mobile Arena. The partnership provides Toyota with in-bowl branding elements throughout the arena, including two dasher board signs, one in-ice logo and a Zamboni wrap. Toyota will also have display vehicles and a street team at pre-game parties at the Toshiba Plaza outside the arena.
"The Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers Association shares the excitement of the community and NHL fans as the Golden Knights open their first season at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas," said Anthony Woods of Centennial Toyota, president of the Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers Association. "As a proud sponsor, we are thrilled to support the arrival of the first major league sports franchise to Las Vegas. We see this partnership as a great opportunity to further our relationship with our customers and to reaffirm our commitment to our local community."
Toyota will also provide resources to support the Golden Knights' efforts to grow the sport of hockey in the Las Vegas community. As part of the partnership, Toyota provided a new 2017 Sienna for the Vegas Golden Knights to use throughout all their youth hockey, education and community outreach programs.
The Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers Association is comprised of four dealerships, each providing world-class service to Southern Nevada, including AutoNation Toyota, Centennial Toyota, David Wilson's Toyota of Las Vegas and Findlay Toyota.
