The Vegas Golden Knights scored a pair of goals to tie the game midway through the third period, but the Los Angeles Kings had the final say as the Golden Knights fell, 3-2. Vegas' preseason record is now 4-2.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Michael Amadio put the Kings up 1-0 at 9:28 of the first before Alex Iafallo extended the lead on a power play minutes later. After a scoreless second period, Paul Stastny got the Golden Knights on the board with a power-play goal of his own to cut the Kings' lead in half. Just more than a minute later, Brayden McNabb tied the game with a wrister from the point. With nine minutes left on the clock, Kyle Clifford sealed the 3-2 victory for the Kings.
