HOW IT WENT DOWN
Jonathan Marchessault started things off for the Golden Knights halfway through the first with a top-shelf wrist shot. Less than five minutes later, Michael Amadio put Vegas up, 2-0. Milan Lucic then cut the Golden Knights' lead in half with one minute remaining in the first. In the third period, Nicolas Roy potted the game-winning goal in his first game back from injury. Nazem Kadri responded making it 3-2, but it was not enough as Vegas secured the victory.
