Golden Knights Sign Nicolas Hague To Three-Year, Entry-Level Contract

Hague was drafted by the Golden Knights in the second round, 34th overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft

VEGAS (September 29, 2017) -  Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, September 29, that the team has signed defenseman Nicolas Hague to a three-year, entry level contract. Hague joined the Golden Knights for training camp before he rejoined his Ontario Hockey League team, the Mississauga Steelheads, for the 2017-18 season.

The Golden Knights drafted Hague in the second round (34th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

-His 18 goals ranked third amongst all defensemen in the OHL during the 2016-17 season

-His 107 penalty minutes ranked fifth in the league during the 2016-17 season

-Represented Team Canada at the U-18 World Junior Championship in 2015-16

-Attended the inaugural Vegas Golden Knights Development Camp and inaugural training camp
