VEGAS (February 27, 2018) -Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, February 27, the following roster transactions: the team has recalled forward Tomas Hykafrom the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves on an emergency basis.

Hyka made his NHL debut against the Anaheim Ducks on February 19 and scored his first career goal against Vancouver on February 23. He has appeared in 35 games for the Wolves this season and has recorded 34 points (13 G, 21 A) to go with two penalty minutes. During the preseason with the Golden Knights, Hyka appeared in five of the seven games and ranked tied for fourth in the NHL with four goals. He finished the exhibition schedule with five points (4G, 1A). Hyka was signed to an entry-level contract by the Golden Knights on June 1, 2017.
