The Vegas Golden Knights earned their third win of the second round as they defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 4-3, on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena. Vegas leads the series, 3-2.

HOW IT WENT DOWN
The Oilers got on the board first as Connor McDavid found the back of the net on an early power play. Just 50 seconds later, Jack Eichel converted on a loose puck in front of the Edmonton net to tie the game at 1-1. Zach Hyman added a power-play goal midway through the frame and the Oilers took a 2-1 lead into the intermission. Vegas exploded for three goals in 1:29 as Mark Stone, Reilly Smith and Nicolas Hague all found the back of the net in quick succession. The Golden Knights took the 4-2 lead into the third period, but McDavid struck again early in the frame to cut the advantage to 4-3. Vegas locked Edmonton out in the final minutes to claim the 4-3 victory and move to just a win away from reaching the Western Conference Final.
