The Vegas Golden Knights notched their third consecutive win on home ice as they added an important win to their win column against the Anaheim Ducks, 5-0.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
The bulk of the first period passed without a goal before Alex Tuch cashed in on a rebound to put Vegas up 1-0. Tuch picked up right where he left off in the second period as he fed Cody Eakin on a two-on-one and lifted the Golden Knights to a 2-0 edge. Nick Holden scored his second goal of the season at 7:19 of the period before Eakin buried a shorthanded goal to put the Golden Knights ahead 4-0. In the third, Vegas kept firing and it led to Tomas Hyka's first goal of the season and Vegas went up 5-0.
