Golden Knights Fall to Avalanche, 4-1

Vegas is now 4-1 this preseason with loss against Colorado

The Golden Knights faced defeat, 4-1, against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday night at T-Mobile Arena. This is the first preseason game Vegas has lost this season.


Colorado tallied its first point just past the halfway point of the first period after Matt Calvert found his way to the net. Vegas went down 3-0 at the end of the second after Vladislav Kamenev and Logan O'Connor each scored for the Avalanche. Jayson Megna added one more to Colorado's total in the third. In the final 18 seconds of the game, Patrick Brown notched one for the Golden Knights to bring the final score to 4-1.


The Golden Knights will take the ice at 7 p.m. PT Friday at T-Mobile Arena to face off against the Los Angeles Kings. Fans can watch the game on KTNV Channel 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada Sports Network in Reno and 14-KJZZ in Salt Lake City.
