The Vegas Golden Knights dropped their first game of the preseason to the Colorado Avalanche, 3-1, on Sunday night at Ball Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN Paul Cotter scored a power-play late in the first period to give Vegas a 1-0 lead. After a scoreless second period, Colorado scored three times to claim the 3-1 win. LOOKING AHEAD
