The Vegas Golden Knights were shut down by the Colorado Avalanche, 6-1, on Friday afternoon at T-Mobile Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Former Golden Knight Pierre-Edouard Bellemare scored the game's first goal just 28 seconds into the contest to put the visitors ahead, 1-0. William Karlsson answered with his second goal of the year late in the first, but a goal in the final minute of the frame from Nazem Kadri sent Colorado into the intermission leading by one. Cale Makar, Kadri and Matt Calvert converted for the Avalanche during the second period as Vegas fell behind, 5-1. Calvert scored again in the third to allow Colorado to leave with a 6-1 win.
